We are proud to have acquired the WW1 Trench diaries of Wilfrid S Adams. Wilfrid Adams was a soldier before the outbreak of the WW1 and by 1918 he had rose to the rank of Sergeant. He was at first attached to the 4th Wiltshire Regt and later attached to the 58th (London) Division of the Royal Engineers.
He went to France on 22nd December 1914. His entries include of the battle of Poelcappelle, Ecoust, Mory, Mailly Mallet, St Jean and there is also mention of the armistice in 1918
